Claude Beaupré holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science at the University of Victoria and University of Strasbourg Political Science Institutes. Her dissertation is titled, “Canadian newspaper coverage and transnational human migration discourses: The 2015-2016 migrant and refugee crisis in Europe”. She has previously received Masters from York University in Public and International Affairs and from Science Po Strasbourg in History of International Relations. She focused her Master Thesis on the Canadian Media coverage of the Refugee and Migrant Crisis in Europe, 2015-2016. She also holds an honours Bachelor in International Studies from Glendon College, York University.
