Shanzae Sarwar is a Master of Public Administration (MPA) student at the University of Victoria. She is a Research Assistant at the Borders in Globalization (BIG) lab. In her role, she assists with copyediting for the Borders in Globalization Review journal and collects indicators for BIG Database projects. Shanzae’s prior experience includes working as a Policy Assistant at the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), a think tank based in D.C. that works to advance the rights of women and girls globally. Shanzae completed her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Affairs from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
