Luca (they/them) is the Communications and Administration Assistant for Borders in Globalization at the Centre for Global Studies. Luca is in their final year at UVic as an English student with a focus on Professional Communications.

Luca’s research interests include the representation of the state and the refugee in migrant literature and the recuperation of historical memory through graphic novels. In their free time, you can find Luca reading, writing, and putting off writing.
