Emma is a PhD student in the Geography Department at UVic. With a Political Science and Geography background, Emma’s research focuses on global value chains, environmental governance, and international trade justice.

With BIG Lab, Emma is researching Canada’s international trade agreements and the role of Customs in administering supply chain due diligence legislation. Emma has also been a Teaching Assistant for multiple Summer Institutes, including the Trade and Customs and Ecological Border Management programs.
