2024 Summer Institutes

We are pleased to share our annual Program Report on the 2024 Summer Institutes. This report contains a review of program structure and requirements, a summary of each institute offered in July 2024, and an overview of the 2025 Summer Institute schedule.

Report Highlights

Overview

A total of 125 fellows from 35 different countries, including 40 BIG Lab Fellows, completed one or more Summer Institutes.

Feedback

Overall, the feedback we received was very positive. On average, fellows rated their overall experience with the institute(s) 8 out of 10 and rated their likelihood of attending future Summer Institutes 8 out of 10.

New Institute

We are offering nine Summer Institutes in July 2025, including a new institute on Managing Border Disputes.
